3 Must Do Stretches after High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

3 Must Do Stretches after High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

Ever wake up after a HIIT or personal trainer session and say, "What the heck, it hurts to just get out of bed!"?!?  That's been my excuse for NOT training hard but now that I'm in my 40's, I don't think I have a choice.  Sooooo I asked one of my childhood besties, who happens to be a fab fitness trainer, C Foltz, what her 3 top stretches are after an intense workout.  Check them out, and the great photos of this fitness hottie!

This stretch is a great full body stretch that lengthens all your back muscles, hamstrings and calves.

This one stretches the inner muscles of your legs and arms.

This one is especially great for the hips and wrists.

I loooove these stretches and I also include IN:MOTION either before or after (and sometimes BOTH) a game changing work out!

Thanks for reading and thank you C Fit for the great stretches!!

Be well,
Simone

  • I’d love to learn how to adapt these stretches for individuals with limited mobility and balance like myself. I’m recovering from a severely case of SMA Syndrome (manifested as a left sided hemispherical stroke) purposefully induced by my most recent neurosurgeon.

I’m walking quite well but my balance is still severely compromised.

    Thank you in advance!

    Warmly,
