Is Ginger Good For My Liver?

Our liver is an amazing organ.  We can’t live without it.  Our liver performs over 500 separate functions in the body, including breaking down toxins, detoxifying (cleansing) the blood, producing hormones and other substances needed by the body, digesting and metabolizing fat, carbohydrates and protein, and storing and releasing energy. 

It also serves as one of the most important supports for our immune system.  It detects bacteria, viruses and other harmful microorganisms that enter our bodies through our gut.
