OK, how many times have you felt slightly silly for having too many drinks the night before because the next day you have an AWFUL hangover!? We’ve got you covered! Everyone knows hydrating is a huge part of recovery because alcohol is a diuretic, but who wants to drink water all day long? Here’s a yummy smoothie recipe that will fill you up and reduce your hangover symptoms! If you don’t care for a smoothie, just use IN:MOTION by itself, up to 3 times a day, to help you feel like yourself again. It has herbs that help with nausea, headache and stomach pain, plus it reduces overall body inflammation so you can maybe even get to the gym! Or not!
Breakdown of ingredients
Frozen organic blueberries- studies show that these sweet gems have chemical compounds that may boost your immunity as they’re rich in vitamins K and C.
Coconut water - it has 252 milligrams of sodium and 600 milligrams of potassium per cup, roughly 11 percent and 17 of your daily value, respectively.
Bananas - each one of our medium sized yellow friends has 422 milligrams of potassium so it will work with the coconut water to rehydrate you.
Kefir or Greek Yogurt - I prefer Kefir because although it has more fat than yogurt, it also has more protein and more probiotics. Feel free to use whichever pleases your palate. Kefir tends to be thinner so if you like a thicker smoothie, you might prefer greek yogurt over kefir. If dairy is an issue for you, Kefir is a better choice as the fermentation process makes it easier to digest.
Fresh mint - for garnish because is tastes good and looks pretty!
